The First Great Made-in-China Thing Worth Seeing

This artwork is called Leafage Carving and is a very complicated process.
These images aren’t drawn on the leaves but carved. The whole operation includes more than 60 working procedures. In brief, when creating the image, only a portion of the leaf’s surface is cut off, while a very thin, almost invisible translucent layer remains.
