International Toy Fair 2010 In Germany
School articles and stationery become an independent product group at the
Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair Nuremberg in 2010. The present Way
to School special has shown how well the visitors have accepted this
additional assortment since its premiere in 2008. The International Toy Fair
from 4–9 February 2010 is therefore expanding its range for school starters
again by involving more international suppliers in hall 9.
The consistent concept of additional assortments for starting school also
convinced the exhibitors involved. “As always, the fair was a representative
shop window for the industry,” praised Olaf Ginter, Director Marketing &
Business Development, Marabu. Faber-Castell made even more qualified
contacts at the last International Toy Fair than the year before, confirmed
Chief Executive Officer Anton W. Graf von Faber-Castell: “The synergies
between stationery and toys convinced traders from all over the world.” A
large share of the exhibitors have already registered again.
With its debut at 61st International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany, Audi will become first carmaker ever to participate in the International Toy Fair. The announcement today with a press release wherein Audi made it clear that their stand will feature Audi toys including model and remote-controlled cars, stuffed cars and an Audi motorsports teddy bear came as a surprise to all the fans. The real best part of the whole show will be Auto Union Silver Arrow Type C in a 1:2-scale version with chain drive. This move comes out as an effort from Audi to raise awareness of the varied range of toys it offers.
