I haven't been the biggest fan of her wardrobe in the second season of Gossip Girl, but I can seldom fault Leighton Meester's personal sense of style when she takes to the red carpet.

Normally when it comes to the sheer fashion trend, it's the other way around. But not this time.

There I've said it. And no, I'm not imploring all out nudity (though believe me, nudity and fashion will ironically be the same thing in the near future), but Gwyneth Paltrow really could have made a much better impact by simply taking her bra off.

Only a few days ago did I implore Hayden Panettiere to lengthen her hems. Though I wasn't necessarily so blunt at the time I reasoned that micro-mini dresses didn't necessarily make one sexy, in fact they can make a girl look dumpy.
And the proof is in the pudding.

An elegant look it is Charlize and, yes, you look gorgeous. But despite it's one shouldered sexiness; wedge heels and under accessorising take the overall look down more than one notch.
